Hei bloggen!
We are still not finished with making the arm in plastic. This is because there are some delays 3D printing it out. We finally connected the wheels and the car movement to the controller, so now we have the arm and the car connected with the controller. We experienced some problems when connected the car to the controller, but that was some minor issues like cables being wired a little bit wrong, and some typos in the code.
Some of the the gears inside one of the motor got some of it teeths broken of, so it made a wierd noice when we drove it. We opened it up and found out about the gears. The wheel connected to the motor is still working and running, but we will see if we change out the motor later. But at this time it works, it’s just skipping over some steps where the teeths are broken of. We also have had some problems when driving the arm that it’s losing connection and getting connection again. We looked into it and found out that some of the cables are very loose. This are not the best cables, but we sorted some of this by soldering the conncetion and using tape to keep it tight together.
This is the 3d print model of the arm. It will if everything goes after plan be done printed next week.
