AutoDrink, week 42


Since last time we have constructed, printed and built the frame of the drinking system.

The trolley is also printed and mounted on the rod. Inside the trolley there are four wheels that will fit the slots in the rod and make sure that the trolley will remain in the right position while moving back and forth.

We had some challenges with the motor and the driver that will control the trolley, but thats a minor problem. We now need a laser that will calculate the distance between the trolley and the dispensers and the start position.

We are still working on the 3d scanning of the glass for calculating the volume. For this we assume that we need four ultrasonic sensors. 

The walls and the top cover are also 3D modelled and printed and ready for mounting.
