This week I worked on my part of the midterm presentation, but other than that I didn’t get time to work on the project because of a make-up exam and work.

This week the MCU schematic is finished using the DRV8840 from Taxes Instruments. See the schematic down below.

The BMS schematic is also far along. A few calculations need to me made and the schematic needs to be updated with the right components and footprints from Digikey as the supplier.

This week, I began working on my section of the midterm presentation. I didn’t get much time to code due to a make-up exam and work, but I started outlining the structure for my obstacle detection module. I explored how to run it independently from the navigation system using to test the detection logic without needing access to the physical robot or the navigation code.

This week I was preparing the tests and collecting a good content testing to use in the mid-term presentation.
